Why I believe Overwatch is a thing riot should follow.

Now lets get this right... i love league... and i have more time invested then anyone reading this however iv had accounts banned for ip sharing but my total time played is 12000 from an account called totally not a girl 4000 hours from an account i cant remember the name of, 2000 from A luo and 1500 hours this account.

But lets face it the die hard fan bois will downvote this to fuck anyway. A constantly changing and patching game needs changes? DONT THREATEN ME WITH CHANGE! downvote

Now why do I believe Overwatch is something riot should follow.

Lets go over what the good and bad things are about each one.

  1. Cool champions with abilitys / cool "heros" with abilities (i dont get why we call the evil ones like reaper heros) so yeah. both games make amazing chars. granted overwatch chars feels a bit better but thats because its a fast paced shooter so stuff has to be really fast which makes it feel nicer.

so a tie here.

Lets go onto something thats a big of a hot topic.

Solo queue.

anyone here been solo on overwatch? how was it? nice? oh awesome!

anyone here been the solo person on a 4 man premade and been the fucking bitch at bag for 50 mins? oh that sucks.

Overwatch gets this thing pretty good because solo people can carry in overwatch. However in league we dont get this anymore. Solo players cant carry at all this season and riot wants this to promote "group play". what this actually does? grouped people dont notice a thing and the solo player feels like shit. Like yes a challenger zed will carry pretty much every game in bronze but thats not what im on about im on about all these anti snowball mechanics. Oh your fed? cant just die to the support to waste gold cause we will give it the whole enemy team, fuck you - Riot

Oh you abused your laner hard as fuck to secure and advantage? yeah fuck you we are giving him free gold and xp.

Like yeah it helps me when im behind as well but it just makes skill matter so little in this game. How to get pro at league of legends in seasons. seasons 1-3, snowball season 4, best season ever everything was viable and balanced (expect juggernauts but those where quickly fucking fixed) 5 and 6, pick a tank/assassin and build as tank. look at minimap. where are 3+ members of your team? go there. splitpushing is not a thing anymore. outplays arnt a thing anymore i mean the closest things to outplays in this season are a tank landing a 5 man ult and master yi dodjing shit with q. thats your outplays.

overwatch: play our game increase our daily player count and we will give you shit.

Riot: yeah we will give you stuff... a chest once a week... when you/team gets an S rank... and keys randomly as fuck... oh and its super RNG based... and if you actually want something you have to sacrifice your last 5 chests to get it.

and i know someone is going to say "but its free!"

riot didnt add this system to be nice they added it to abuse kids with early gambling problems.

kids: oh but overwatch you pay for and league is free!

yes but guess how much the average league of legends player spends.... its about 500 dollars... so... 30 bucks vs 500...

this system should be either be made properly or removed rng boxes shouldn't be used to abuse addiction. remove the useless keys. remove the dust crap. pretty simple. get an S rank and you get something. oh just want to quickly add riot has like 5 times the shit overwatch had in rng boxes. and yet in one game of league from the second you hit play to end you could earn a bot in overwatch because the games are that fast. so league. 5 times the shit to offer. limited to 1 box a week... that needs conditions met. and wont even give you the thing you have to sacrifice other things for it.

Thats my rank done and over. Again the point wasnt to be like "herp de derp overwatch is better" i just want riot to go "oh shit someone else is in the top game circle now we need to step our shit up abit".

Whole different genre. You couldn't pay me to play a FPS. They are boring AF. I especially won't play Overwatch because it was made by Satan.

Didn't need to. You said RIOT needs to step up their game. For the genre that League is, RIOT don't need to because it already is the #1 MOBA in the world. You still couldn't pay me to play a trash ass boring AF first person shooter.

I believe that RIOT improves League all the time. I think that goes without saying. If they didn't then League wouldn't remain the #1 MOBA in the world. You can't be this unintelligent. Maybe you can.

league is currently number one but they are just riding the fame they got from when league was at its peak "seasons 3 and 4" riots player rate is droping quite fast and thats one of the reasons riot is like "OH SHIT PEOPLE ARE LEAVING! stop making the numbers of players public it look bad to investors". you know... kind of like world of warcraft.

and if you believe they improve all the time name one GOOD improvment? abusing gambling addictions in people? trying to force more people to play threw encouraging teamplay and failing? adding RNG dragons to the pro scene... you know rng... the reason they removed dodje and where thinking about removing crit..

and all the "class" reworks have been great. what it basicaly is. lets fuck some shit up and see whats op. everyone who plays that champ. "umm we dont want skarner to have pillars... swain to have some weird q... or cass to lose her damage." riot: stfu we are doing it. players: oh look skarner op, oh look graves op, oh look mal op. riot: ok give us about 1-3 months to abuse the skin sales for those champions and we will nerf it. nerfs people who played skarner: umm... we dont like skarner... he feels like shit and clunkey... people who played swain when he gets nerf: umm we dont like swain he feels shit and clunkey....

Time for you to go play another game. I have fun with League because I understand that adapting in an ever changing world is one of the requisites and to me that's fun. That us why FPS are boring AF. They don't really change. It's shoot them before they shoot you. It is mind numbingly simplistic. But then again so are most of the gamers playing today and my guess as to why so many flock to those type games. But to each their own. That is my opinion.

All games lose people. Show me these difference making numbers you are talking about?

you have fun with "YOU PLAY WITH FRIENDS! YOU PLAY TANKS" in that case your new to league and weren't here for when it was good like season 2 3 4.

the meta hasn't been changing since then its just riot nerfing whatever is good against tanks. you can see this with the sated changes the only reason Shyvana MasterYi Kindred Warwick ect where strong is because they where good against tanks with sated + bork.

oh no cant have that tho the bronze 5 will moan lets nerf them. now every single sated jungler is weak expect for 1... Kindred who is just flat out op and constantly getting nerfs.

champions like shyvana dont even buy a bork anymore they just go pure fucking tank because its the only thing allowed. udyr? yi? jax? oh carry junglers cant have that gotta be a tank like volibear skarner amumu rammus or some other shit. this is currently the balancing situation.

is it a tank? leave it alone. is it good against tanks? nerf it.

as for shootings being generic i do not know how you can say that. i have done more good plays on Overwatch in the 3 days its been out then i had on the last 7 years of league for me... and i am not no bronze fucker Im classed as the top 3%... and seriously wtf do you mean uninteresting? we go into a lane to count a fucking minions health for 20 mins. early invades mean fuck all, getting fed means fuck all, in most cases being fed is a bad thing cause team shutdown gold. if you kill your laner till they hit the lowest amount of gold and you reach the highest if they get a shutdown they earn more off you then you earned off them because you will give up to 1800 and you earned 1200 so the only thing you are allowed to do is pick a big as fucking tank and not die while you last hit, HOW FUN! as for people attracted to those games why do you think so many league players are hyped over Overwatch? its because riot has basically gone "we dont give a fuck we make money" and blizzard is like "we actually fucking care about our games" i mean have you seen how long they support their games for? i can with 100% certainly say Overwatch be here for 15 years with blizzard, do you think league will hit 15 at all? like its at 6 and its looking really fucking bad.

as for me showing you the numbers i cant due to riot taking down all the sites that held them due to not wanting to look bad for investors. go search for the them yourself the only ones your find is riot going "HEY LOOK AT 2012-2014 LOOK HOW GOOD WE DID!"

i dont think anyone needs to state its a problem... its pretty easy to notice its like "oh a school was shot up" and someone being like "oh... ok then" and it says not as big as a problem. like if you love playing these boring as fuck tanks i can see why u dont give a fuck but to me being a 4000 health fizz is boring as fuck its a dildo fight every game they always seem to drag out for 50+ mins and they are no fun at all. also i wasnt on about the tank meta in the post i was on about 1 solo players. 2 "free" stuff 3 how the game is anti skill. that video was my point on solo players where he goes " a mid laner will never go 3/0 and carry the game" as for play and below the ranked system atm is so braindead atm if i picked sej id be fucking diamond 1-masters in a month but league is so fucking boring it arnt worth it. like yeah id play maybe 1 game a day but thats mainly out of "maybe it be better today" rather then "OH BOI LETS PLAY LEAGUE!"
