How to Vayne vs Leona
Alright so I notice whenever people ask me for advice on vayne (even though im bronze trash lmao) they always ask me why they get fucked over when they play against a Leona. Ive got some tips from experience playing against Leona as Vayne and I want to kinda share them with you guys.
- When Leo trying to engage on you with E, time your tumble so that she will be brought back farther than she planned.
Pretty much what im saying here is when the Leona Es onto you there as split second where she does an animation before she flashes to you, what you want to do is use your Q while the animation is going off. This way she may be in turret range or at least abit mis positioned (depending on where you are in your lane).
- If your a duo, try to grab a Janna support.
Janna is by far the bets support for Vayne but ESPEICALLY because of her disrupt and disengage abilities. Mainly her Q, which if timed ocrrectly can cancel out a Leona E or stop her from chasing if she lands a full combo. Top of that the Janna ulti offers a disengage and heal so use it AFTER Leona has already used her entire E W Q combo.
- FOCUS THE ADC THE SECOND HE GETS IN RANGE.
One thing I see alot with leonas is that they will enagage out of no where and their adc will take a second or 2 to react, while your trying to peel off the Leona so she wont blind ur ass with light, make sure you are always paying attention to the adc. The second he gets into your range try and kite around the Leona while attacking her adc. DONT use your Q tll 3rd auto attack because you may be taking to much damage, by saving it for the 3rd auto you can decidde wether you can win the fight or disengage and have the support disenagge for you.
