Just lost 23 LP Riot. (My fault though)

I definitely shouldn't be playing ranked, but you sure as hell shouldn't have it up when this firewall problem is happening.

I'm not mad about the LP, I'm mad that my team had to go through 4v5.

I'm mad because they were so far ahead and almost won it.

I'm mad because you all refuse to turn on loss prevented.

I'm mad that there's no fix for this since Tuesday.

Honestly, this is the first time its completely locked me out for the entirety of the game, so I had no reason to believe it was unsafe to play ranked.

I know better now, I just hope you all fix this before it effects more people. Its almost been a week. You're a billion dollar company, start acting like it.

I understand that it can take a long time, sometimes, to fix these issues. I also understand that most players are making the choice to enter games knowing this issue exists. What I'm not so sure I understand, however, is why they don't just disable ranked. It may be off-season, but it's still where people go when they want to play seriously and competitively, not 4v5.

I sympathize completely, as it's happened to my teammates very often, and so have lost games as a consequence. Lost a Lissandra a couple of games ago, which was not something we could come back from, as she was (supposed to be) mirror-matching a Lissandra in mid-lane. Clearly in no way a rage-quit or anything of the sort. The opposing summoner and their team were skilled, so we didn't really have a chance, but it could have gone either way until then.

At the same time, this has yet to happen to me. I don't know if it has anything to do with a unique configuration of sorts, some unknown factor on my end that's prevented it, but I wonder what the cause is, and why some are affected more than others.

Do people still suffer from LoL's bad tendency to not play nice with the automatic Windows service, IP Helper? That was a problem a long time ago not often cited. I set that on Manual from Automatic, and it hasn't hurt me any (it's a typically-benign service on most home networks), but I have not suffered from connection issues since then.

Also was completely unable to even begin a game past champ select. Still says "leaver" and made me lose them points, that function is definitely still working! Fucking dumb.

I'm sorry to hear that...

but Riot isn't. Even if it's their problem, unless it's a really obvious server issue they won't acknowledge it and thus it's your fault for leaving and since you left, you're leaver scum and don't deserve a say. That's Leaverbuster for ya.

It has been well over a week that this stupid company chooses not to fix the real issues in the game.

Rito. Still having people in my games not connecting. Where's the fix?

If they turned on Loss Prevented, they would also have to make all wins give no rewards. Either way, someone's gonna be complaining.

what helped me most actually was to start the client as an admin. rightclick the link, run as administrator and go. I also followed all the other steps that were recommended (from releasing your dns to renewing your host). idk. Client is just fucked up. And its been the last few patches. I didnt have problems all season4

edit: nevermind. just tried to log in and am back to having to try 10 times... so frustrating!
