Ranked Season

Why does the ranked season take so long to come back? I've waited over a month of playing normals, my friend told me it would be new years eve or day but why do we have to wait that long? Are you guys being lazy? Or are you just ignoring work? Whatever the reason is, you should hurry up on I play this game for fun but i want to play ranked so badly but you still havent made the new ranked season yet -_- how long do you need a year? You guys made this awful preseason 6 which almost everyone hates, and it didnt even include the stuff people were looking foward to, like the new ranked system, instead you decided to buff yasuo, zed, and the already op adc's, SO ANNOYING! RIOT PLZ!
