Depends on who you ask. Generally its frowned upon to hit a woman, regardless of context.

Depends on the situation, equal rights, equal fights (within reason). A guy clobbering a girl is wrong, but if the girl is full on assaulting the guy, he has the right to defend himself.(Just watch worldstar)
Still think it's funny though, a guy hits a girl in any situation hes a brutal pig, a girl hits a guy in any situation and it's brave and independent and strong no matter how the situation played out or who was right or wrong.(unless it's in the ghetto)
