Bronze is the league of Tryhard egotistical yasuo and riven wanna be mains. Silver is just a banoon clown fiesta with trolls and scrub lords everywhere xD

Literally. Took me 3 days to get out of bronze originally, then played over 300 games in silver xD But then I hit gold when I just started 1 tricking.

If you wanna carry yourself out of bronze, assuming someone on your team has picked a tank, pick Karma Lux or Annie . Lux is probably the best at this because she can still score easy assists for more gold with her shield, but annie is easier to play. The point is to be that one guy that's "Support", the only difference being you actually build a sightstone so your team gets vision. You may be slightly weaker, but you'll make up for it by snowballing your team.

just dont make the mistake i made and think that it gets better low silver is arguably worse than high bronze as far as getting people to work together i made the mistake of trying to push for gold at the end of season and got so many people surrendering in a row i went back to bronze 1 then 2 then three then back up to bronze 2 and bronze 1. you get stacked vs that team with the low gold who was on a loseing streak so they put him vs your 2 sliver 3 bronze team for a game that is supposed to be his win nd he has 3 high silvers one high bronze . sadly yesterday the excessive surrendering of my teammates caught up with me and i lost me 51%+ (51-53%) winrate i only have exact 50% now.

Boy, I was Plat 4 last season and I'm about to play my 88th games.

Ended up in Silver 3 and I was lucky to get a division skip, because after those 80 games I'm still in fucking Silver 1. Yesterday had my second(!) promo this season and first one to Gold, went 2-3. Won the very next game, got to promo again and had my next 2 games stomped so hard I just dodged the 3rd one to end the promo on the spot.

"We changed the ELO system to the Ladder system to make you feel good about yourself, by giving you a sense of accomplishment." Fucking piece of crap.

But like... He was plat 4 last season. I think it's more of a problem with the people on his team, and the way Riot does matchmaking.

Say you have 20 MMR, and Riot bases a team off of 100 MMR. Then you get matched with 4 team mates that also have 20 MMR. So nearly equal skill level for everyone on your team.

But once you start going on a win streak, which is usually required to get to promos, your MMR is raised, lets say in this case to 60. This means all your team mates only have 10 MMR now, so they're significantly worse than you are, and the enemy still has all 20 MMR. Obviously this is on a bigger scale, but by the way the system works, you're kinda meant to do a one man carry, which believe it or not, is kinda hard to do in silver, especially silver 1 because people realize how teaming works and stuff and don't go in one at a time when you're Fiora.

You know, back when I started playing I was stuck in Silver 5, because I legitimately sucked at the game.

The thing is, that is not the case anymore and more of a case of having an Annie mid who goes 0/5 before either of the junglers can get the second buff. As in in 90% of cases when an enemy ends up with a bad score, I was the one laning against them.

Plus I actually climbed up recently, because I started with 30% winrate after like 50 games and now I'm at 50%. But it's always that the moment I get into promo or about to, the people I get matched up with are pure, uncarriable trash.

How am I supposed to win, when those people can't tie their fucking shoes without somebody reading them the fucking manual?

Nope. Decayed out of Plat S4. Didn't finish placements S5, didn't play S6. Apparently if you don't play for a whole season, you max out at Silver 1.
