Auto +1 own comment?

Hey, was just wondering if it was the norm to remove the automatic +1 on your own comment or not, as I don't want to post a discussion and look self-assured by keeping that +1, but I also don't want to remove the +1 and make it seem like I'm getting negged.

Sometimes I feel like I'm thinking too deeply into these things...

Nobody typically removes it. We all know 1 is the baseline. If you realize you said something wrong or stupid, you might remove it then, but otherwise leaving it alone is normal.

Upvotes only show as green if you have 2 or more upvotes anyways, and are a neutral white color if you have exactly 0 or 1 upvote (and red if you have -1 or less)
