Short on RP for Snowdown Shop Sales :(

So Popstar Ahri is in my Snowdown Shop for 40% off, which means I can get it for 597 (or something like that). I got really excited when I found out she was there because that is the only skin I have ever wanted, but I got disappointed when I saw the price. I only have the 400 RP i started with and I'm not sure how to get more RP before Snowdown is over. I'm not allowed to buy RP, which is disappointing because a simple $5 would get me there. And now I'm stuck in a dilemma and I'm not sure what to do ._.

That tournament in specific is free entry, it depends tourney by tourney, they have their own versions.

Make a picture and send it to riot and ask them for rp they will give it to you. I have done this with renegade talon when i was only like 7 rp short :) merry christmas

Is there a set amount of RP where they'll stop giving you stuff? I know 400 can't really get me a lot, especially since most sales that i want go for 497 or something like that

That's a good question. I don't have the answer for that tho. But from speaking out of my own experiences and what I've seen the RP has to be really close like 50 or less i would imagine.

Because my parents won't let me and I don't even have my own credit card. I offered to give them my physical money myself in exchange they would use their card to get that $5 worth of rp but they refuse ($5 isn't even that much)

Since you have your own cash, you could get a Riot Points card from a store. http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/community/prepaid-cards

If there aren't any places nearby that sell those cards, you can also use Visa gift cards. There's a $5 activation fee for those, but they definitely work and can be purchased with cash.
