What is this, "I give up because you deserve to lose?"

So I've occasionally encountered people who literally give up on the game (say so in chat) because they feel like one of their teammates "deserves to lose." These people then purposely conduct actions to make the game unwinnable. I understand getting upset because you are not winning (still not acceptable, though), but if you are so upset with not winning, why are you ensuring that you lose?

This logic just baffles me:

Person X isn't doing great for whatever reason (even if they are just having a bad game), so I'm going to burn my LP and the LP of everyone else because I don't like that he wasn't a perfect player.

Can someone explain this attitude to me?

And before you ask; yes, I was on the receiving end of this. Computer randomly froze, so I restarted my computer so I could actually play the game. I was gone 5 minutes and our inhib towers were still up; the game would have still been winnable.

I've encountered this myself. I can undertand throwing a game if there's a 3/2 (also known as MAJORITY, rito) ff call and the last person won't cave, but you shouldn't punish someone for having an off game lol.

This happens especially with the people who perceive that every kill that's not theirs is automatically ks.

They whine and cry and put the guy getting the kills on blast in all chat, and then finally, "I'm sick of this guy, I'm gonna start feeding." ffs

The most valuable commodity to anyone is time. With that in mind, I've seen numerous hot heads that are grouped with other hotheads , like 3 or more. They make playing the game a chore. They are rude and super heavy. They will not take advice such as being objective based and not aimlessly setting up failed picks against teams that 5 man grouped and roaming. So I can relate to the only satisfaction the random guy can get is to prolong a very bad game and make sure it's unwinnable as punishment to the others acting like complete Dheads. Not saying it's right, but yes I can feel for them.

I've had games where someone acted so poorly that I didn't feel terribly bad when we lost because it meant they didn't get a win... but I've never actually played bad for the sake of making someone lose.
