The new HUD

I know there's a post already about it. I just don't want my comment to be lost in the sea of hate.Gangplank

It's not ugly and the animations are nice.

Here are my problems with it.

-It's distracting. I spend too much time being "wowed" by the animations and too much time trying to remember that my gold count is in the middle now.

-It took me half a game to find my k/d/a. Seriously I couldn't find it. (its on the map)

-the section for connection info doesn't change size with the rest of the HUD. (unless I'm crazy and it actually does I can't tell)

I understand why you guys made these changes. But they did more harm than good. The only people that would benefit from this are new players that just started playing now.

The number one complaint about the new HUD, from various people, seems to be: "I don't want to adjust where I look for stuff." Sometimes, there is an implication that adjustment is impossible. Its not. And with the HUD the adjustment will come rather quickly. A little bit back I changed my buttons from QWER to WERT. Now THAT was an adjustment. But now I'm used to it.

My point is simply that the new HUD should be judged by people after they adjust. When Tahm Kench first came out I got destroyed by him in a game and thought "OP"! I almost wrote a post on it. But then I realized the reason I got destroyed was because I wasn't expecting or playing around his abilities. Now that I know what to expect, he doesn't feel OP and I'm glad I didn't make that post. Adjust first, then discuss.

If you asked me these problems will go away on their own. But not without taking a chunk of my elo first. sigh

I had the same problem finding the K/D/A. Not being able to make things bigger than what the current maximum is now, is a big fail.

They definitely need to make it so that you can move things to the previous locations.
