how do people lose with thresh?

Meh sometimes you can't hit the hooks. Happens a lot when people ward and know how to dodge

While I can see it being done since I have seen stupid Thresh's that run in alone into the enemy team and get murdered, I do have to agree, he has a tool for every situation that he shouldn't be dying often.

playmaking utility only goes so far. he's not the inherently tankiest of all supports (braum/leo), and he's not the best peeler by a wide margin (janna). his tools are built to cater to two things: picks and dynamic teamfighting. he's a very powerful champion and one of my favourite supports to play, but he's definitely not the indisputable best support for everything, and definitely not a free win.
