While I can see it being done since I have seen stupid Thresh's that run in alone into the enemy team and get murdered, I do have to agree, he has a tool for every situation that he shouldn't be dying often.

idk its not too hard sit in a bush unwarded ,hook, people cc machine your dead. Low health targets gonna die? oh 3 mile long lantern to save you across the map. The only thing he isn't very overpowered with is damage but since his kit is so op any damage he has along with it just adds to the brokenness

The sad part is, even damage he has. His Rend or whatever that tiny knockback move is builds more damage the longer he goes without using it if I recall right. I have seen times where he alone could over half an ADC by himself before they could retaliate or his ADC reacts. Its kinda sad

playmaking utility only goes so far. he's not the inherently tankiest of all supports (braum/leo), and he's not the best peeler by a wide margin (janna). his tools are built to cater to two things: picks and dynamic teamfighting. he's a very powerful champion and one of my favourite supports to play, but he's definitely not the indisputable best support for everything, and definitely not a free win.
