Like the title says. Is Kindred one champion or two? And explain your reasoning, please.

Wolf: "Never one..." Lamb: "...without the other."

So, you're saying Two?

Though, you can hardly take their word for it. They might just be a crazy 'him'/'her'.

Dude..can you read...Kindred is saying they're ONE. Yes, they're separated, but they are one. Lamb without Wolf is half. Wolf without Lamb is half. 0.5 + 0.5 = 1.

If you want more evidence I'll just copy right off the wiki:

Wolf: "Lamb, tell me a story!" Lamb: "There was once a pale man with dark hair who was very lonely." Wolf: "Why was it lonely?" Lamb: "All things must meet this man. So, they shunned him." Wolf: "Did he chase them all?" Lamb: "He took an axe and split himself in two." Wolf: "So he would always have a friend?" Lamb: "So he would always have a friend."

So you're saying that one individual became two individuals, but is still one individual because they originated from one?

Does that mean when a lizard sheds it's tail in self-defense the lizard has now become two? What if said lizard does this multiple times in it's lifespan..

I think mayhaps when a tail can get up and follow the lizard around and they can have conversations that might be a more worthy metaphor.

The tail is no more a being unto itself than my arm would be if I cut it off. There would still be only me. At no point is a new personality/awareness created in that scenario.

My idle curiosity leads me to ask aloud that if a single being destroyed itself, rendering into existence two new awarenesses from it's previous oneness, are those awareness's entities unto themselves or is their only value derived from the sum of their two existences?

Two. While inseparable, they each have their own personalities and preferences. And unlike a bipolar entities, these two are clearly separated and distinct from one another.

They are inseparable and halves of a greater whole. One champion.
