It won't be missed by me. I fart on its grave.
You get the role you want in the new system, basically you pick two roles and the majority of the time you get the primary one you want, if not you still get to play another role you want.
I think they did this so we could have a team builder like system but without the long waits for a support/jungle role to que up.
