I live in florida and I have had to deal with high ping for months. It was so bad last week that I made the decision to move to the LAN server. I get 19 ping there and i get 100-150 on NA. Its really annoying to have to speak Spanish just to get better ping. I can get by using Spanish, but I would much rather speak english. I'm sure the players on the east coast would appreciate an east coast server. Please consider this riot.
Google the server roadmap, they have plans to move the servers to a central location, even up the ping, along with routing everyone to there server directly, to reduce the amount of traffic. Tons of stuff, it's all a matter of waiting.

Its kinda BS that Europe gets 2 servers when half of their countries arent even the size of texas. Especially when Europe has 3.931 million miles Vs America (alone) 3.806 million sq miles.
All of North America has a land area of 9.54 million sq miles. 3x that of Eurpoe. Who gets 2 servers.
I heard they were just gonna centralize their server to midwest.
I wouldnt make a server but extend a server port to put out a stronger signal on the east
