[gameplay] do you view the whole chat or just the person who got reported

i ask this, because i feel like u only pull the chat of the person reported, who in some cases, is only defending himself, and no, not everyone just ignores, because if people ignored they wouldnt have a reason to report, have you ever thought someone is just defending themself against the toxic person? or maybe the instigator started cussing everyone b4 hand, and someone is standing up to the bully by putting him in his place, i recently got a 10 game chat restrict and i feel like you arent punishing all involved, just the guy that gets reported, and when its a premade of 4, and its in team chat, they can just gang up on anyone and get everyone reported and restricted and i dont think u view their comments, so is this an exploit that i need to start using just to get people banned for shiz n giggles?item 3144 summoner 3

Realistically speaking, regardless of defense or not, if someone's showing toxic behavior it looks like toxic behavior. Context is important, sure, but there are tons of ways to defend yourself without you becoming just as negative as the person from whom you're defending.

Fortunately, the number of reports you get in a game isn't accounted for, just the percentage of games in which a player is reported. If the entire premade reports you for no reason, absolutely nothing will happen; if the entire premade reports you for a valid reason, I believe it's set up as "hey you were reported in this game".

This might elicit more responses in Player Behavior & Moderation, by the way!
