How many losses would it take to get demoted from Plat 5 to Gold 1?

After years of playing this game and more grueling matches than I care to count, I've finally made it to Plat. I'm just wondering, how many games would I have to lose before I get demoted back to Gold? I read on reddit that it's around ~50
