Will Act 1 be extended due to crashes?

The crashes have been affecting Mac client for over 24 hours now (unless they just fixed it). Will the Act be extended so people can earn their icons without ruining other players' games and potentially getting hit with Low Priority Queue? It shouldn't take long to get the icons, however i'm sure there are people who don't have the time to play 3-8 ARAM games to get the icon if they were waiting because of the bugsplats every 3-10 minutes.
