Faith in Humanity Restored

Last night I queued for a ranked game. I got my primary role of support while our teams jungler said he got auto filled into jg. I asked him whether he would rather play support, and he said yes. I'm rusty on jungle as I haven't played it much since season 6, but I knew my Kha'Zix could kick butt. So, during the ban phase: Shaco, Vi, Rengar, and Zac were all banned. I was last pick on my team, and I was swearing loudly when the second pick on the enemy team was Kha'zix. Never fear, my pocket pick of Gragas will save the day!

Well... no.. not really :P. What ended up happening was a calamity of failures on my part which my team had every right to flame me for. But, they didn't! They didn't flame me for picking an under powered jungle champ. They did forget to leash me, but to make up for it the Braum walked all the way to raptors to watch me blow my flash while spamming smite (Because for some reason it wasn't working), and then getting executed. They didn't even flame me when I was 0/3/1 to start the game after dying to kha'zix twice!

You see, this was a good team. A team that knew how to win, because while our Renekton was 1v3 top lane, the rest of us came together to snatch the infernal drake, and pick up bot lane tower and a kill. Surprisingly, Renekton got a triple kill at top lane, and off this single play we won the game. Yes, our team came from a 1/9 score deficit to come back and win the game.

Why? Because even though my team could, they chose not to tilt me or themselves. Why else? Because even though the enemy team was doing great, once the Kha'zix messed up once, they flamed him and tilted themselves into throwing the game.
