Status Messages on friends list

So. The friends list. Mine is composed of people I know, that are adults and mature. We are crass with one another because we know one another personally. We do not offend one another because we are friends (Nothing special right? pretty normal stuff).

So tell me then.

Why cant I curse in my status message when the only people who see it are my friends? I get it when its in game or chat, its obvious why you don't curse or be a prick there. But when it comes to my personal friends I do not appreciate having my hand slapped by mother RIOT.

I just want some clarification is all. These kinds of namby pamby hand holding censorship stances personally piss me off a lot. My friends and myself do not need policing when it comes to the way we interact with one another.

It's disrespectful.
