Why am i getting matched with Gold players whenever i go into ranked

What the title says. Now granted i don't play ranked a lot (partly because every time i play ranked i get matched with gold or higher) and am only b5 and it even happens when i play consecutive games why rito why :(

I appreciate the enthusiasm towards me i really do, but when it happens multiple times in a row i think theres something wrong
