The State of Which Solo Que Lies

When heading into solo que, you must have a certain mindset, "I will win this game". Every match there are atleast 4 people who do not have this midset, and we will call these people the Sorrows. The Sorrows are there to test you, and yet another trial of the might climb you are about to take. 2 people have the honor farm mindset, we will call these people the Lux's (due to Lux's nature to be optomistic). The Lux's will try to break up fights between the Sorrows and the next set of 2 we will call the BMer's. The BMer's WILL tilt you, so be careful. The last group of 2 people are the group I hope you would like to be in, the Climbers, a group that does not tilt, and just enjoys the game, while giving it their all. So let's take a look at what we have.

  1. The Sorrows, or the people who genuinely do not care
  2. The Lux's, or the positive, enthusiastic (usually support) player
  3. The BMer's, or the rude /ALL chat people.
  4. The Climbers, or the people who have a chance of genuinely skyrocketing ELO

Now these 4 groups do not necessarily have the same numbers, as in some cases you can have 3 Lux's on 1 team, 1 Climber, and a BMer. No matter what you do, these people do exist, and their experiences earlier in the day may predetermine what group they're a part of. When it comes to dealing with these people, you need to take different steps.

If you are a Climber, you more than likely /mute all the second the game started, as this is the most efficient way to prevent tilt. FOLLOW THIS EXAMPLE. Tell your team you plan on doing this, and to communicate with pings, but the best way to climb is to do this.
