Why isnt league fun anymore?

It's not because I've been playing it for too long.

I've been playing monster hunter much longer than I've been playing league and it's still fun

I've been playing pokemon even longer and it's still fun

Something about league lately just seems... Well the best way I can describe it is if you mixed some cheep expired maple syrup with grey markers.

Idk.

Before when people insulted you it was because they were mad at you and they wanted to win. Now people insult you just because they feel like it.

I already know what people are gonna say. "Maybe it's you who isn't fun anymore"

the thing about those other games is that they are single player made for a solo person but this game is not like that you need others to win and have fun.

Because despite all attempts of Riot to improve moderation, streamers and E-Sports players have made being toxic 'cool' where as before it was just genuine anger. So now everyone is toxic, ten times more than before. compound that with the release of more and more annoying to play against, complex and highly twitchy champion designs. As well is making games shorter and shorter by making it easier to lose from a single mistake or bad matchup. And you have a brew mixed for toxic station.

thats really a question you can only answer yourself. i just take extended breaks when it gets bored and eventually come back
