Should i stop playing ARAM when i reach 666 wins?

I'm really close to Teemo status in ARAM. However, with mastery levels 6 and 7 coming soon and some sort of reward for reaching them i've realized just how far behind i am. My highest mastery is 2 wins away from level 4 (but i only play it while duoing) while i only have 3 champions at level 3. I really don't like playing on the rift without friends but i also feel like i must carry in order to win even though i'm tied for lowest rank of the typical 5 unranked-silver guys i play with. I really want to work on my mastery but when my friends are busy with HotS it's hard to motivate myself to play on the rift. Should i stop playing ARAM once i hit 666 wins or shoot for 999 so i can intentionally play with a Rioter?
