Leave buster?

So I was just playing a quick game of beginner bots, for my 1st win of the day reward, my ping spiked up to 500 and I was disconnect from the game. I even notified my teammates that my ping was spiking and I might disconnect. I joined around 8 minutes later mid-game. After the game has ended, I was greeted with a notification which I had to agree upon to not afk again. I do not think that this is a fair situation and hope that a red could remove it(probs won't :/). I was playing Leona support and I went 2/0/5 before the dc and have fed my ashe adc. I do not think me leaving for a short duration had a huge impact on the game. I think the leave buster system could greatly use improvement especially due to the instable state the servers are in.
