It's all in the title - do you enjoy the mind games and minion farming of playing in the laning phase, or the team AoEs, lockdowns, and desperate flailing to get at the enemy ADC/APC?
I always favored lane phase. Feels much more interesting to compete directly with one as opposed to getting lost in a sea of ten with abilities going everywhere.

Depends on who/what I'm playing, but overall, I prefer laning. I stil get 'lost' sometimes in teamfights, but if I have a good aoe champion, it's not so bad.
Laning phase. Personally, I enjoy how much more my individual skill plays in a matchup.
That said though, when I play champions like Amumu, I can definitely say I can't help but enjoy myself when I set up a gigantic team fight womb combo.
In solo queue I 100% enjoy teamfights more
but in ranked 5s lane phase is really fun because my support is hilarious
Teamfights. If I do well in laning phase I usually get ganked constantly and punished for it. It's frustrating and rarely 1v1 (or 2v2). In teamfights I can have a little backup at least.
i prefer teamfights because that is when you have to decide when to use what and who to use it on with only a few seconds to decide.
