If I mute my team can I get reported?
If I mute my team because I want to concentrate and not deal with flamers could I get reported for no communication? Also, can they still see my pings if I mute them?

Can you get reported? Yes. Will it do anything? No. And yes, they can still see your pings.
Riot Lyte has said on these boards (I can find the link if you'd like), "No one has ever been suspended solely for not communicating."
use pings. if you ping, it's still communication of a sort.
People can report for anything, but these reports are seen as "empty" and will be thrown out. Using pings is fine.
Yes you can get reported for it, but nothing will happen such as a time ban
