New to the Ranking system, so I'm kinda confused.
People say that its only the preseason,and it does not matter if you reach gold or silver because they will restart everything when the season starts. Is that true?

Yea, although it does matter cause the higher you are in preseason the higher you will likely get placed after your provisional games. example is if your gold its less likely you will be placed in bronze and more likely you will end up low gold high silver
