LeaverBuster

Would it be too much to ask to have LeaverBuster be a bit more open? Like allowing you to still chat with friends and change runes. Especially for the people that are queuing with the player that got the LeaverBuster. I'm willing to sit in the queue with them, but its rough that I too can't talk to my friends or even reply to a friend that invited me to a game. Thanks.
