How did you come up with your summoner name?

Hey all, I was wondering how you came up with your summoner name. A lot of people have funny/true stories behind them and I'd like to know how you came up with them. I got the name AetherealAnomaly (my friends hate searching me )because a my friends and I got bored and we're discussing how English looks like Arabic upside down, and someone said "that's an alphabetical anomaly", (p.s. we had told him to use as many super long words as possible that day). So I was going to use Alphabetical Anomaly, but it was too long. But I really liked the name so I legit googled "random A word" and it gave me Aethereal, so now I'm AetherealAnomaly. That's how I got my (very) long and awesome name, but I wanted to know yours. If you have a friend with an odd name/story post them if they don't mind :) Thanks!

Friends nicknamed me Dukus (or at least how they originally spelled it). When typing in my summoner name I accidentally added an e and didn't notice, which has now been apart of my name for 6 years. It is also still a running joke with my friends.

My family nickname was Norman (my real name is Kenny). My cousin used to always call me Stormin Norman, after the general. That name proved to be rather long so I stuck with Stormin.

My argument vs any complaints against my name is that oxford clearly says my name is lovingly holding pretty rocks. No sexual innuendos involved.

Every time I played Taric I always heard "OMG, Taric you are SO GAY!" So I took an insult and made a joke out of it.

Someone posted a Video with names for jhin mains during his Hype, and i took one of these names, previously i called myself DatSteinbaum, no idea how i ever came up with that shit, like, 4 years ago. go-to Name for like, everything since then. the funniest thing on my actual Name is that i suck with jhin, hate tryndamere, and main sion. My friends still hate me to this day that i changed from DatSteinbaum cuz they always called me stein or steini.

Played Janna quite a lot a couple years ago, so I changed my name to one of her quotes: "Gale winds, unleashed." Except the limit for summoner names is 16 characters (I was '16CharactersLong' on the PBE for a while =P), so I knocked off the only letters I could that would leave it with correctly-spelled words while still being recognizable as a Janna quote.

That and it also makes sense when you realize Gale is actually my name =P

I... well liked spouting gibberish in a way that sounded like a foreign language... don't ask why but I used to do it... I was playing Civilization 2 and I chose to be the aliens, which is super boring because you are on another planet with no opponents, but I named all the cities in my gibberish language.

I'd say something in my gibberish langauge then turn the sounds into latin letters and give the city a name. Garitoe Guard was the capital..... then I made a sound that became Narvuntien, the city of Narvuntien. I just really liked the way this made up word sounded and felt. This was about the same time I started become active on the internet needing to make accounts with unique user names and why not use a username that was completely unique since I invented the word. Now on the internet I am officially Narvuntien.

There are people in real life that call me Narv because they met me online, most often they are from my LoL, who are friends of a friends brothers friends... yet I know its weird. but they didn't know my real name only my online name and it stuck. I am to them "Narv", in real life and in voice chat. It does start with the same letter as my real name and I have for a very long time an obsession with being unique so the shortening of my real name I use is also unusual.

I got my name from my account on Steam. I am very obsessed with space, and so if you look up my multitude of names on Steam, most of them having to do with space (Most prominently, unfortunately, CosmicBlazer. idk what I was thinking.) But, the story behind that is quite simple. I was renaming myself on Steam, went to the Restroom, and when I came back it was Cosmiick. I liked it, and I rolled with it. Unfortunately for me, I do not own AurelionSol yet, so I can't be a space dragon :[
