Is there any shot of C9 going to worlds?

I know that only 3 teams out of NA get to go to Worlds each year, the spring winner, the summer winner and the overall points winner, but there is no way to check the points that i know of. If anyone knows where/how to check to see if C9 has a shot at going to worlds this year id appreciate it. Also out of curiosity if TSM wins both the Spring and Summer splits who gets to go besides them?

Actually it's the summer winner, the total points winner, and the gauntlet winner. That means C9 still has a shot and a good one. They'll either be the #1 or #2 seed in the gauntlet depending upon what happens tomorrow with TSM. A TSM win means c9 only has to win one match to make worlds. A Dig win means they'll have to win two.

But be honest. Don't you as a C9 fan feel rather uh dirty having to root for TSM? HAHA :)

Huge C9 fan and they should be final boss for the gauntlet but with that said I don't want them to go. They have been way too up and down this season and I can't trust them to do NA proud

If TSM wins summer, then second place should have the most Champion points and will also qualify. 3rd team then has to go through the gauntlet run

Riot actually did an article that outlines what LCS teams can still make it and how. Basically C9 has to win the gauntlet at this point to go.

C9 has to win the gauntlet. Best outcome would be if both TSM and IMT make finals. If that happens, C9 gets the last stop of the gauntlet and only has to win 1 best of 5 to make worlds, and more importantly, they would not have to play both CLG and DIG, just 1 of them. Or if Flyquest pulls a 2015 C9 they don't mess with either :D

Firstly, your criteria is incorrect. The three teams are based on the Summer Winner, the most Championship Points on the entire season, and the winner of the Regional Qualifier or "Gauntlet" as it's commonly referred to. Certain Wikis have kept up with points allocation if you'd like to check. But for C9's scenario:

C9, with 90 Championship Points, is guaranteed a Gauntlet Finals spot if TSM win the split: the advancing team between IMT and CLG will advance to Worlds off of their 90 (IMT) and 100 (CLG) Championship Points; in IMT's case, they placed ahead of C9 so the tiebreaker would favor them. TSM losing finals omits the points factor as they take a seed automatically.

C9 will be in Round 2 of the Gauntlet by a single scenario: TSM loses Semis and DIG wins split. IMT or CLG would then have more points or a higher placement resulting in them being in the Gauntlet Finals.

Frankly, I hope C9 doesn't go. Aside from Jensen, their team is under performing. Neither Ray nor Impact has stepped up. Contractz has been mostly forgettable, and their bit duo has been off all split. Barring an embarrassing meltdown to TSM, DIG is looking far better. Adrian and Alter have made a huge splash, Ssumday and Shrimp have been solid play makers and Keane does enough from mid to be a factor. CLG has been looking pretty crummy between the NV series and being swept today by a surging IMT.

As things stand, C9 and CLG would just continue to be disappointments on the biggest stages. Fresh teams and faces for NA, even if they don't go far, is an improvement from the cycle of meltdowns of past Worlds.

Basically, gauntlet only

I think C9 only has to win 1 best of series in the gauntlet to be apart of Worlds.

They are in.

More like... Is there any chance of C9 getting anywhere at Worlds after Play-Ins (without a Korean team carrying them to Quarters)? Nope.
