So I finally decided to examine Old and New Fiora...
Some backstory here, I have never seen or played Pre-Rework Fiora, only the reworked one once. I like her kit, but with these "bring back old Fiora" posts popping up, I wanted to know why. And I have to say I can get some of the backlash.

Changes to her kit on this caliber are always going to alienate some people, especially if they spent the time learning all the tips and tricks.

The visuals. Man that is a can of worms. All I can gather while wading through the hate is that Old Fiora was young and hot while this one is older and "clumsy looking". Eh. I kinda expect experience to come with age, but if you want a young looking Fiora I think Pool Party looks pretty good.

AOE Heal for ult instead of flying around and killing everyone XD. Once again, I can see this too. But to all the people who say that new ult isn't thematic... Her old one wasn't either. In no fencing match are you going to be flying around cutting people and healing up. Unless you are in an anime. Speaking of which...
... Hmm... He may look good with that ult.
I have a good solution for headcanon. New Fiora is Old Fiora, just older and more experienced. A woman in her 30s-40s, she cannot fly around the battlefield like she used to, but her bladework is as exemplary as ever, able to deal massive damage to vitals. She is less selfish, helping out her allies and overall doing slightly more impact and needs more tactical thinking than waiting till she's low then hitting R.
Also, I'm sorry for all of you who wanted a young French Waifu. Perhaps Fiora's more of a cougar now eh? CoughCoughHeadMistressCoughCough
TLDR; I get your pain, but overall Fiora's a lot easier to balance and she needs more skill. Also please don't shower me with downvotes, I only have ever played her new kit. I have no idea how her old one flowed.
