How to get every new champion and save up to 2700IP (conditions HEAVILY apply)

Ok I couldn't express it that well in the title due to word limit, but this only works under the right conditions. Otherwise this won't "work as well".

Ok basically this works in such way to 'abuse' the HexTech crafting thing for champion shards. In case you didn't know, they cost 1700IP and getting 3 means you can reroll into a 'random' champion. You can probably see where I'm going from here.

Basically every new champion released is released at 7800IP for the first week, but 3 champion shard things only cost 5100IP total, which means you can save 2700IP (or 1200IP if the champion becomes 6300IP). And if you have all previous champions, the new released have 100% chance of being the 'random' champion.

So yes, you do need all the champions but from then on, you can essentially get every champion from there at 5100IP.

I know this might be an obvious 'tactic' but I thought it'd be nice to post incase others didn't know.

yep basically the better way to go if you've gotten to the 6300 champs and don't care which ones you get in what order.

I did that with the last 6 or so champions yeah, now I've got 3 ready for Camille :D Can't wait till she comes out, she looks hella fun and suits my style; balance of tank, damage, mobility and crowd control.

I actually dread it. she's basically another vi/xin/tanky bruiser that one shots squishies with 500 gold in damage items and moves on to shredding the tanks because fuck counterplay. I like the playstyle even less than noninteractive burst poke cc bot mages.

I guess it's just a difference in preference :/

also they've evidently removed these tokens out of spite now. and I guess I should clarify I don't mean the damage their doing isn't balanced in other ways but their kits of just clicking on someone and spaghettiing all over their keyboards because they have such burst, dps, sticking and peel power in their kits it's just ridiculous trying to shut them down. I actually enjoy champions like kled or riven or illaoi who's cooldowns mean they can have moments of glory if they play right, but if say a kled jumps into your team and misses his gapcloser or q to allow him to stick in there you can just kind of back off and let him try to waddle after you because his autos sans w are really nothing special and he's pretty much dead in the water because he was allowed to mess up.
