Blood Moon Jhin Bug

In the Blood Moon Jhin recall, I thought the recall was originally suposed to make his body turn dark right before the recall channel was completed. However, as you can see from the Skin Spotlights video, this is not the case. Granted, it could be what was the intended effect, but after watching Eldimarix's video on all the Blood Moon skins' recall animations, Blood Moon Jhin, in the video, noticably turned darker. Please give me insight on this.
