I just had, by far, the best game of Leauge in my life. An early successful invade led to an early snowball, and I ended up 11/0/13. I placed wards, got towers, participated in team fights, and I didn't get an S. I am extremely disappointed and confused. If I was ever going to get one of those new fancy chests or keys it would've been this game, so why would I keep playing if I can't get the reward after a perfect game?

The system is all sorts of fucked up. Probably mad you got more assists than kills.

From some of the other posts on the Boards, I'm not certain that the system is handing out chests for S games just yet, so don't worry too much about it.
The Mastery system compares you to all other people who played that champion in that role, and only the best of the best games with that champion in that role get the S. It wouldn't surprise me if your low CS and warding are what kept you from getting an S
