Tell me exactly why chat is needed. Everything that needs to be communicated with your team can be done through a ping. I am so sick of the toxic community every single ranked game. I am currently on a losing streak and doing my best to hold my head up high, but my teammates are no help. I seriously can't stand reading chat. I feel like I should just auto mute every player in the game before I even leave the nexus.

So yes, I need chat. If you can't handle chat properly then you aren't mentally prepared for the internet.

I am just getting tired of playing ranked games on League. Every single game shares the same pattern. Win and everyone is stroking each others ego. Lose and everyone is raging, pointing fingers, trash talking. It happens in normal games too, but the frequency is lower.
gr8job1 votesI see what your point is, but I definitely don't think chat should be removed, for reasons above. ALL CHAT, maybe. Never got the "point." Still, there's been some enjoyable back-and-forth here and there, and I've made many friends from both my team and the opposing team. Hell, I met someone I dated for 2 years from opposite teams.
I think the main problem is that many players aren't able to understand that this is a TEAM game and put too much emphasis on individual performance. If someone's struggling or making mistakes, you can actually help them! And that will improve your chance of winning immensely. But people are too lazy and selfish. They just want to cry and rage and feed and AFK if someone does something they don't like.

Who cares about keyboard warriors? Obviously you do. Multiple pings is already annoying, and adding more types of pings doesn't help, because of the sound. Oh disable the sound? Then how are you going to know? Oh, look at the map? Yea I want to look at my mini map the whole game and not focus on lane. Rage, trash talk, blamings. Eh, either kill them with kindness, or not feed the fire? Hmm.

If the game was over when you win lane and took the most objectives, i would be Challenger...
