Client Crash on Login

This is a re-report of a login issue. I looked at the 'how to report a bug sticky' and it says to report client issues HERE. So I do not know why my previous post was removed.

I am having an issue with the client either closing or crashing every time I try to log in. I click 'launch', input my password, authorizes, then closes/crashes. Then I get the message 'Connection Error'. The only remedy I have found is to repeatedly try to log in (5-6 tries usually). I can say with confidence that this is not a connection issue on my part. During the few times I've encountered this error I have been watching live twitch streams AND in Skype calls. This issue started months ago but only recently has it gotten worse. The previous pattern would be to attempt to login, crash/close, reopen client and it would be fine. Now I have to try multiple times before it will let me back in.

Any Rioter care to respond? Because I'm currently experiencing two bugs. First, I was getting the unable to connect because of the firewall bug. I did the recommended 'cmd' ipconfig route (which did not work). Now my client keeps crashing after putting in my password and attempting to login. So I've spent the last 15 cumulative minutes just trying to get into my game. Undoubtedly my team mates are pissed because of the afk Garen. This wouldn't upset me if you didn't have that unmerciful Leaver Buster system in place waving the ban hammer around.

Reinstalled the client. Did not fix the issue. WILL A RIOT EMPLOYEE PLEASE RESPOND. It is super frustrating to have to waste 10-15 minutes trying to login when the client repeatedly crashes.

Latest problem. Trying to login 20+ times with the constant crashing (even after reinstalling) and trying to connect to chat. That combination should be nerfed (read fixed). Because right now I try to login and crash anywhere between 3-6 times before it actually connects. Then after successfully logging in I fail to login to chat service. Rinse, repeat.

Riot? Anyone care to address this problem? Or am I going to continue to be ignored? Pretty poor customer service considering I've spent hundreds on your game.

Are you on Windows 8? Mine is doing something similar and setting the compatibility to VISTA lets me log in (for now)
