How to link a picture?
I've tried using the chain button, I just want to insert a pic so that everyone can see it in the post, without having to click a link

Deep Terror Nami1 votesThe chain button is just for making hyperlinks to click. To embed an image, it has to be a url from an online image (no direct uploading); Simply right click the image, copy image address/url, then paste that in your post. If you need to upload it somewhere, there are lots of imaging sites like Imgur or Gyazo. If you share an image and it doesn't embed properly and appears cropped, try adding [/img] to the end of it (this happens with Imgur links).

Deep Terror Nami1 votesA lot of times people paste the url of the page the image is on rather than the image's. If it's got an image extension on the end (.gif, .jpg etc.) that's what you're looking for.
