I honestly want to know how to do well consistenlty in bronze.

I'm by no means a great player, ill admit that right away.

But I'm finding it increasingly difficult to play roles I want/am good at and still win. I main jg and support, with a few champs thrown in at top and mid. I don't carry games, but I generally carry my own weight and wind up contributing a lot.

I love playing tanks, even before this whole cinderhulk thing. hell, even my favorite mid lander I build tanky (I play swain). So there is a huge difference between when Im on a decent team and a crud team in my games. I still have a winning record in ranked (albeit slightly) but its not enough to consistently climb.

I just don't know what to do when a lane feeds 0/4 before level 6, refuses to call mias, wont ward, pushes to tower when im nowhere near to countergank or any of the other things you would see on a wood division youtube channel.

If someone could give some honest pointers on what to do better and not just "git bettur n00b" it would be greatly appreciated.

I've experienced this while carrying myself out of bronze and currently on my way to gold so when a lane feeds, pink their bush and come from behind. Warding for your laners is just as efficient as them warding for themselves.

Let your laner engage with CC and don't use your gapclosers until they blow a flash or their escapes. If they don't have either of the above, feel free to come in and stick to them

Try and get yourself fed because if you know what you're doing, you can carry the game because carries in bronze aren't as reliable as you could expect..

Even then you should try playing carry junglers because you can itemize to the enemy team and still faceroll. MasterYi running at you with item 3142 and summoner 6 with a item 3140 so you can't CC him (I prefer ghost on yi) with 80 stacks on item 3718 is scary as it can get.

Hey guy,

From personal experience, I think all you need to do to climb is play the champions you have over 60% win rate and at least 2.0 KDA with.

You Rammus and Swain are at that position. As long as you can spam them while keeping about the same KDA and win rate, you will climb fast.

Bronze is a weird place to be. I'm not much better, but if you learn to effectively cs and watch the minimap you should be able to climb. Your cs is pretty abysmal and if you can understand how to cs with one of your mains like swain then you should be able to climb. Its been said many times b4, but go into 5-10 custom games with half of the games vs no bots(no runes/masteries) and try to get 75+ cs by 10 minutes, then try it with a bot in the lane and keep learning how to get your cs score higher until you get at least 75+ at 10 minutes vs a bot. From there spam 3-4 main champs in normal games and only focus on certain aspects of improving your play. REWATCH YOUR OWN GAMES and observe your cs and what you could have done differently in lane, from there expand into watching the map... and so on. To quote Martin Luther King "git bettur n00b"Lucian

Upgrade your trinkets, learn to farm, and I think trying to get the team to communicate are the fastest ways to climb. In select, I say mid or support, no matter where I am. If someone below me wants mid I usually give it to them, less chance they will rage/troll and I won't get countered. Then complementing team mates when they do well, and reminding them that being down by 3-5 kills isn't game over. I personally think support is the easiest way to climb. They don't need to farm, position, or worry about out played, just heal and peel.

I forgot to mention, look up counter triangle, and there are some last pick videos that are funny and give players easy chsmps to play.

People in Bronze make a ton of mistakes, but not all of them make the same mistakes. As you get better, it will become apparent that enemy players who are doing well are still terrible. The 4/1 Riven will have bought Zerkers and a Shiv with her lead. The Volibear who ganked every lane three times will have 26 cs at 12 minutes and never took either of his 2nd buffs. The Leona who annihilated your bot in lane will initiate on anyone she sees every time her ult is up, even if she's alone. The Kallista who went legendary and is beating everyone by 5k gold will tunnel so hard that she will dash into your entire team and die just to rend your 0/8 support again and again.

There are a lot of different skills involved. As you gain each one of these skills, not only will you do better but you'll be able to notice that enemies are doing it wrong and you'll be able to start exploiting that. You'll bait the fed initiator who is too eager to fight. You'll camp a bush and pick off the full AP support who has no Sightstone. You'll split push to break up the siege comp whose adc isn't sieging properly.
