Stun is very unreliable and probably wont land on anyone with mobility.
Placement rest only goes so far. Although timing it with tower shots will be enough even if he cannot escape out of it's range on use.
I don't think he'll be bad at it, but you are over hyping it a bit.
I don't think his kit will give him great clear, tbh
I can also see him being built as a tank, he has enough cc and all he has to do to change a fight is land his stun on a few people

he has a built in shield and aoe damage, hell be fine camp clear wise.

Hes basically Diana in a lot of ways, so yeah he can jungle

run in, throw his q, line up his w, e when the enemy gets to his w aoe, crap tons o damage and 2.25 stun

but he does have good clearing potential.
lvl 1 he has his passive and if you start w he has his execute autos. so you can take golems very fast with a halfway decent leash. he wont be overly dependent on mana early since his stuff has such long cds.
so we get lvl 1 w execute+shield which is a good enough shield it will block 2-3 golem attacks, plus the smite from golems effect.
come to lvl 2 taking q. 120+.8AP damage to the crows camp should be enough that you can quickly execute the lil crows, and starting your pots as you take down the big crow.
red camp time, your w is up by this point, as well as smite. the damage of your q, plus the 2.25 second stun and shield/golem passive should quickly let you take it down.
back and get chilling smite
lvl 3 take e and time to gank. your w will be thrown behind the target to either catch them or force a path, the slow from your passive and q should let your laners catch up and hopefully get the kill.
runes I see spellvamp quints, armor yellows and AP reds and blues.
masteries I see 17-0-13 with the offense tree starting AS mastery and working down the AP side to get the spellblade mastery and maxing executioner. on the utility side make sure you get the spellvamp, jungle buff length and 40 starting gold masteries.
Just be SivHD, and steal his blue then kill him.
I don't know... He has no sustain (Has to wait like 4 seconds for his shield, so that will slow his clears down and make him behind the other junger if he shields with all the camps), his mana problems (If using abilities to farm, which you have to if you're jungling) will probably force him to either never give blue to allies or never farm and only gank, get as many camps as he can, recall, repeat.
I think his clears will be pretty bad. His W passive only takes effect from 30% and lower. Once he makes it past his first clear or two he will probably be alright, but no reason to pick him over mainstream, so I doubt he will be nerfed.
I'm looking forward to jungling with him. Starting out a gank by tossing Parellel Convergence behind the enemy. Cutting off them running directly backwards forcing them into a bush. If they do run into it I can just Phase Dive into the Parellel Convergence and beat them to death while they're being slowed from my passive. He seems like he's a great champion for Jungle.
His stun is the easiest thing in the world to dodge since you can see it coming. It takes 3 seconds for the damn thing to actually shoot off and during a good majority of that time, you see the big blue circle appear on the floor.... lol.
Clear-wise, he's not bad at clearing, but he's almost pure single target outside of his Q. He's also pretty damn squishy.
Then there's even more about his W... it doesn't synergize in the jungle. The shield is 2s long and it stuns for 2.25s. You'll never be able to put the shield to use, though that 2.25s is nice, but it won't really help.
The biggest offender to him as a jungler though? His passive. It has a CD. You can only hit targets so often with them, which makes him all burst and no sustained, which is what he's supposed to be. Hit and run. His kit allows him to hit and run.
I guess you could go AD though like idiots on the PBE are doing and try to be Master Yi, but he'll always do better as AP since it's a lot safer, a lot burstier, and a lot more entertaining.
Ive watched a few hours of people streaming playing him jungle.
And even ignoring people being new with him, i just cant see it working out.
His clear is passable, not amazing, not terrible.
But his ganks are absolutely useless. The setup time on his W is just too long to ever be used effectively in the gank. By the time the zone is set up, the gank is already a success or a failure.
Ekko seems kinda dumb
An Assassin who doesn't have Burst is just a squishy Fighter, not an Assassin. They even say he's more for Skirmishing which is even more Fighter esque
