Second Chance

Hey guys, Goshuu here. I want to pitch in an idea to make league of legends an even more enjoyable game than it already it is. Before I start, I would like to say I am toxic. Well, I was toxic, I got a chat ban and that frustrated me and retained me from communicating with my team, that really frustrated me. So I made a goal to never be toxic again, and so far, I think I've been doing a good job. One problem, I'm not toxic any more, but I still have the chat ban in my history that I can't get rid of and takes away from fun League of Legends stuff like the pool party event. So I've thought of a way, to give people a second chance, every new season of League of Legends, you guys refresh or "clear" the ban history. This way, these toxic people will be more careful next time and won't be toxic. To back this up, when someone has already been chat banned or banned, they wouldn't care if they do it again because they know that they already won't be able to join these events. It also helps people change and it gives people a second chance to fix their mistakes. Thanks for your time, I really appreciate it, have a good day :)

Pretty sure that the ban doesn't affect you permanently... For example, ranked season rewards are only not eligible to those who were banned in the last 3 months of the season I think?

The history should be there because if you do something again, Riot needs to know to elevate the punishment. If you've cleaned up your act, you're a statistic that their chat ban worked - I'm pretty sure they've forgiven you and will let you participate in league events a few months / a season later.

Hi. You just said that if Riot will clear their ban history they will be more careful. Why you're so sure? I think they'll start to flame again, since they had a clear ban history now. They will be more carefull if they're close to get a permanent ban. I won't downvote this, because you explained very good your point of view, but my opinion is that the ban history shouldn't be cleared. I'm sure most of them will stop after they got their first ban or second ban...so no need to give them extra chances to be toxic again. Is now or never. Either they stop, either they got permaban. Have a good day too!

I have had the same thing, I was minor toxic at the beginning of playing league. I mainly just cussed a lot in game because I'm a very vulgar person but I had 2 chat restrictions, both for about 75 games each I think and I have cleaned up my act since then. I don't know what's up with your situation but I do think that Rito should forgive and forget permanent chat bans. If you mess up again after the ban clear then it should be perma no matter what.
