@Riot, what ever happened to Dark Horses?

I found this series and saw things like urgot top, assassin J4, and support brand. I read these articles and was just fascinated that for one, i'm not the only one trying this crazy off-meta stuff but mostly that RIOT actually encourages it. I thought the articles were very well written and interesting, and more importantly encourage diversity in the community. I for one am getting rather tired of always seeing the same champions in the same roles with the same cookie-cutter builds and thought this was a really nice breath of fresh air, so what ever happened to the series??

I think it would be cool to bring this series back, with new items and champions added since the last of the series some new combinations and builds are now possible. Like, illoai support off the top of my head (illaoi support is the worst actually, don't encourage that). So why did this series stop, and are there any chances of a revival?
