ur just gonna have the pressure on you to make plays in order to take objectives. contributing substantially to team fights is also somewhat difficult compared to many other champions.

Still has room for outplay. But is reliant on a decent team comp.

In my opinonion (yes, opin-onion, it's more fun), Zed is very very good. However, he sees very little success in the mid lane for one reason - Zhonyas and QSS ruin him. And if you're laning against him, AD assassins will build Mercurial for the damage and cleanse, and AP assassins will build Zhonyas. My solution to this struggle of his?

Go top lane! You have free poke, only one way to be ganked, and since most top laners don't come with built-in sustain or mobility, you can kite them with spells and whittle them down as you please, being an energy champion. That's some stinky cheese, right there.
