League of Legends featured game modes.

Do not press the dislike button due to the fact that I'm bringing U.R.F. back up after quite some time, it's merely a generalization type gamemode that refers to multiple featured game modes. As of late, I've found myself to be rather bored with League of Legends. Then I began to think about how U.R.F. was such a fun gamemode that I kept playing it over and over, up until it was finally ended. This made me wonder as to the reason that Riot doesn't make featured gamemode change every week or so, which would end up making the game have a bit more variability. For example, all for one is a gamemode that really is only fun for a short period of time, but is interesting to come back to every once in a while. Ultra Rapid Fire, an April fool's joke turned into something extremely fun, tends to be played an extreme amount as it focuses heavily on the player's reactions(As well as champion selection, but that can be tuned to balance out some champs). Showdown was a quick queue that lasted a short amount of time before rapidly losing its popularity. All of these featured gamemodes had something special attached to them, entertainment, and due to this, I feel Riot should contemplate a new plan for when the featured game modes will be released, brought back, or cycled around. Glad you brought this up though I tend to be a hater of U.R.F in general. If and when it does come back I would like to see all new champs designed for that gamemode. To me it feels like they took a new game design and slapped the champions they already had into the gamemode without considering the consequences. Frankly there are only a handful of champs that are valid picks as they are so op against all others it makes no sense not to play them. Now I'm not against having custom games where the champs we currently have could be played in U.R.F, but I would much rather see champs made to fit the gamemode rather than held together by sticks(most champs) and a few hand gernades(the op champs)

As for the other gamemodes time will tell though to be frank I think Riot is missing the money train by taking all the game modes off after short test runs. Way to many bored people get a taste of these modes and then go back to logging in once every two months to check whats new.

I don't really like the current method. You have no idea how long it will be until a game mode returns, or whether it will return at all. Having a game mode appear on a regular basis, perhaps every 3 weeks (1-1 and 1/2 week of playing, 1 week of back to normal, 1/2 week of voting and guessing what the next game mode would be) would satisfy everyone's tastes.
