Rabid Husky1 voteswell for your question its because unlike ranked normals are more fun no risk if you loose and the reward of winning being the reward if everything was ranked im sure not everyone would play and as for your own delema id say just dont play ranked next season and try to play with bronze maybe silvers depending on your own skill gap and try playing with friends most importantly if you got competent unranked friends then less chance of feeding and no dealing with gold+

aaronautumn1 votesit's because your normal mmr (due to not playing normals) is low and at the same level as the people you've encountered. if you played enough, you'll end up match with players with a similar level.

while someone like me who played ranked last season got to silver then gave up since i would run into the same issue you have with norms i could try my hardest but if people dc feed troll or just stop trying for one reason or another nothing i can do and end up losing my rank since lower teirs noone cares as much

Ranked is easy since everyone is pretty close to the same skill most of the time. Its just sad i dont get to play stress free becasue the matchmaking system is wonky in normals
