chat in specate

Whenever I spectate a game, I can only see the items purchased, and if someone has been slain, but I cant see /all chat. I have chat enabled in the spectator overlay, and in the interface settings.

I don't know if this was something riot changed or a bug.

You have never been able to see the players talking in game, but you can message them if you're their friend by saying /r [player name]
