Confused on time.......
First off, let me recognize I have never posted anything on the LoL board before. I have done quite a bit of reading though....
Nonetheless enjoyable, I'm reading boards while I wait for games. On average, Ranked, Searching For Match, I tend to get an approximate wait time of around 1:00 give or take. A game to pop every minute or so! That would be incredible! Granted, I'm not the greatest player to play LoL because I'm a casual player. Bronze IV, less than special, so please take this into consideration.
Why.....please why, is my actual time to get my first game to pop, not go through without someone bailing, around 4-5 minutes? If, and correct me if I am wrong, the Approx wait time is what I would assume is "average wait time," there seems to be an error. At first reflection, I thought this might just be a coincidence, as the average is just that, the average. And while it may be rising, the average is rising slower than the actual. But then, it became more often than not. This could no longer be coincidence. When 80 - 90% of your games are over 300% later to pop than approximated, there must be something wrong with the calculation?
If I am the only one who is experiencing this, I apologize and I will take it up with technical support but, something tells me I cannot be. I cannot be the only one who has to wait (on the absolute longest ever) 10 min, when my average time is 1:00 for a game to pop. If this has been written about before then please I offer ignorance as my excuse.
