Grouping

Let me ask you all high elo or professional players of League of Legends. How do you make your team group? I just lost a provisional since my team didn't group even after winning teamfights. I understand I am still a newbie at the game and I need advice to help me climb. I didn't flame or afk or anything like that to my team, despite my name. I know how to keep my temper in ranked games.
