Experiencing an unwinnable Ranked Game, and What to do about it

So today at about 6 AM, I was about to head to sleep, but I wanted to run a quick ranked game. I joined in and there was this man (unnamed for boards terms and services) who claimed he could only mid, or jg. I have seen people like this before, and believe me, I am the first person to dodge to avoid MMR Damage. Well this guy could only do 2 lanes, but the problem is, we have a jg main and a mid main on our team, and they were bot higher pick priority (he was last pick, I was second to last). They pick his lanes, and I go AD Carry, and am stuck with an inexperienced support. This guy goes Lux, after asked to play a tank.

I tried not to get angry about champ select, but in game, even the calmest of players would get salty in their own way. Our lane was a Lucian, Lux, Versus a Jinx, Blitzcrank. This lane is very easy for a lucian, as I have played against it close to 50 times. The game started out good, I hit my cs quota, (80 at 10 minutes) and was just farming. Lux on the other hand was sitting there snaring blitzcrank repeatedly. I had no issue with this, because i could just keep on farming, but the one thing i had told her was to not get pulled. I explicitly said "Keep it a passive farm lane, while i deliver poke, and DO NOT GET PULLED".

I have never seen a person with sidestep skills this horrendous, she got pulled 4 times in a row, each of them instant death. I asked her to go mid but she stayed bot and continued to do this. She fed all game, and contributed NOTHING. (I am not Ranting she went 0/10/0 Look at my recent games)

Honestly the only way to deal with people who can only go one lane, and are terrorists about it, (when i say this I mean like they pick a mid laner for like jungle or something.) is to dodge. You lose 3 LP and don't ruin your MMR based on other people's actions. Hope this article Helped.

I actually don't dodge all that much, but I usually have to bend over backwards to try to get everyone in roles they can decently do. Communication is key in champ select, yet no one thinks "Maybe if I suck at support the most, I should say 'DON'T MAKE ME SUPPORT'...". >_>

I dodge anything unsavory in champ select. if people aren't getting along and things aren't meshing in champ select there is no reason to think they will in game. 3lp is insignificant and well worth avoiding games you don't want to play.

That said, I don't really feel like I would have dodged the game you described. It really doesn't sound like the guy did anything wrong. He didn't get the role he wanted. Filled and didn't listen to you(which why should he?) and chose a champ. Lux wouldn't be my first for what I want as a support but certainly not an outlandish pick. Then he did poorly.
