A few mins? Lol my lil queue checker circle thing at the top right, every time it went a full cycle the time went up not down started at 22 mins, up to 35 now.

It might be a DDoS these happen to online games all the time. What they do is flood log in servers, no REAL threat but they can cause large amounts of lag and log in issues. All we can do is wait, really.

Again this is speculation, just seems like this might be it.
