Put Skins into Inventory System like Steam

I was thinking that it'd be neat to buy a skin and have it be held into an inventory so that you can either claim it as your own, or gift it to a friend later. Maybe you buy the skin while it's on sale, but you gift it to a friend on his/her birthday (or insert other special occasion here). Maybe you are only able to hold 3 items in your inventory at a time and you can claim or gift them at any time, that way there's no abuse of the 3 item daily-gifting limit.
